In appreciation of Stanley Robshaw
From the Barwicker No. 6
July 1987
In the last edition, we included an article by Mr Stanley Robshaw, Chairman of the Maypole Committee. Since then, Stanley has resigned after 36 years in the office - 36 years of magnificent service to the community. Grateful committee members have presented him with a commemorative decanter. His son-in-law, Mr Derick Nichols, has succeeded him as Chairman. We offer to him and the new committee our best wishes for the future of the maypole.
